On Saturday Appetéz took part in a tree planting organized by the Greater Modesto Tree Foundation.  The Foundation works to preserve and develop the urban forests of Modesto.  Don't think we live in a very foresty place?  EVERY TREE COUNTS!  And every tree makes our air cleaner, our buildings cooler, and our streets prettier!

Have you tried a Tzr?

Here at Appetéz we have some of our own words and phrases for our unique menu items.  A "Tzr" is a wee sample of our appetizer (or appeTEZer, if you will) of the day.  They change every day.  We sometimes don't even know what they will be in advance!  Here is our kitchen's chance to let their creativity shine!

Every time you sit down at the Appetéz Café, you should receive a little Tzr to tempt your palate and see what our chefs are up to.  If you don't see yours, be sure to give your server some grief!

Tomorrow is the Stanislaus County Heart Walk here in Modesto!  This event raises money and awareness for heart health issues and is sponsored by the American Heart Association.   Come on out!  Registration begins at the MJC East Campus at 8:00 am, the walk begins at 9:00 am, and the route takes the group down the Virginia Corridor where you pass Appetéz!  We'll be out to say hello and hand out beverages-- see you there!
