We had a GREAT time at the Furball Soiree on Thursday night!
This fun fundraiser for the Alley Cat Guardians featured a fantastic array of wine-tasting, and niblets from many local restaurants.  Thanks to all who stopped by the Appetéz corner-- we hope you had fun.  We know we did!
And congratulations to Beth Sims and Bev Medeiros, our drawing winners! You have some kitty-cat goodies headed your way from Appetéz!

Appetéz is associated with TWO great events this evening!  Alicia and Sarah will be down at the Gallo Center for the Furball Soiree-- an evening to raise funds and awareness for projects of the Alley Cat Guardians, featuring delicious appetizers from Appetéz, as well as other local restaurants, and a fantastic array of wine sampling as well!  The evening also includes a silent auction, and the chance to bid on a dinner for two in an Appetéz Romance Booth.  You can also stop by the Appetéz table and enter to win some fun kitty kat prizes!

And across town, Appetez' very own Andrew Inman will be playing at The Guru Lounge with his band, Feel Good Fall.  They're rockin'.  They're indie.  They're folkie.  They are a local band to love, so come on out and check them out!   And if you miss it, I am sure you can make it up to Andrew by visiting him at the cafe and leaving him a big tip.  ;-)

Kudos to the staff of the Memorial Medical Center Foundation for a WONDERFUL event last evening!  The Evening of Hope Fashion and Art Show at the Gallo Center was an art-filled and inspiring evening.  Guests mingled in the foyer munching on many of our feature appetizers, viewing art created by cancer survivors before being ushered into the Foster Theater for a fashion show featuring breast cancer survivors.  It was a beautiful evening and we were so honored to be chosen to be a part of it!

Thank you to all of the Memorial Hospital Foundation's many, MANY volunteers that helped with this event! 
We even put them to work passing out snacks!  You guys were great!!

Music for the evening was provided by the very talented Modesto High School Quartet.

More volunteers-- this time serving up delicious sparkling punch.  We wish we could take credit for it, but that great recipe came from the event organizers!

 Oh come on Tara, look at the camera!  Maybe she's trying not to flip that tray of Fiscalini Cheese.  Their cabernet-soaked cheddar was a big hit of the evening!

The team from the Tez.  It's kind of hard to see, but we all have pink daisies in our hair!
