September means it's time for the most relaxed of concerts of the Modesto Symphony Orchestra: the annual Picnic at the Pops.

This year everyone's gettin' groovy with Disco Days & Boogie Nights-- an evening homage to disco and 70's pop favorites. Dig out your polysester and bell-bottoms, and even enter the costume contest!

Picnic at the Pops takes place on the grounds of the E&J Gallo winery, on Saturday evening, September 10. The grounds open at 4:00 pm, and the concert begins at 7:30 pm. 

Always enjoyable, you won't want to miss this highly anticipated concert!

AND: the best thing about Picnic at the Pops is that you get to bring your own food to the show!  How 'bout getting takeout from Appetéz or Buddy's?!
Maybe a lineup of Téz Tapas like Millenium Bruschetta, Coconut Prawns, and a Turkish Balckened Steak Salad.
Or grab some casual fare from Buddy's-- a family meal of ribs, or some BBQ chipotle chicken sandwiches.
