Summer's almost done, but there's still a little time left to enjoy one of the best things about summer in Modesto-- a Modesto Nuts game!

The Nuts have had a great winning season this year, and have a few more home games before the regular season ends. What  better way to close out August than to spend some time with the Nuts?
John Thurman Field is super-accessible, located just a few minutes outside of downtown Modesto. Parking is plentiful. There are always seats available on a walk-up basis, and it's a scream-of-a-deal with bleacher seats for just $5. (Those other fancy seats will only set you back about $12. Hardly more than a movie!)

Come on out and cheer on our local boys of summer in an action-packed game. And the Modesto Nuts organizers make sure that every game is filled with lots of fun moments between innings with giveaways, promos, and games.

Upcoming games include one tonight (!), Saturday, August 20, as well as night games this Sunday through Wednesday (Aug 21-Aug 24).

Games usually aren't 'til 7:05 pm, so plenty of time to stop in at Buddy's to grab a bite beforehand-- this week's specials at Buddy's include The Bruschetta Dog (gourmet hot dog topped with fresh tomato, mozzarella, basil, and EVOO and balsamic vinegar) and the Casanova Burger (burger with swiss cheese, sauteed mushrooms, proscuitto, and dijon mustard aioli-- yum!).
