If any of you out there have lived somewhere outside of California's Central Valley, you'll know that few places in the country have more delicious fresh types of produce than we enjoy here in the Valley. A few of us have our own gardens and can enjoy this goodness straight from the ground. But for the rest of us who might be a little limited on time and garden plot space, we can enjoy those goodies from our local Farmer's Market. Here in Modesto alone we have no fewer than THREE farmer's markets that operate weekly-- how lucky are we?? There's plenty of opportunity to support local agriculture and boost your healthy eating. At Appetez we even use produce grown out of our own gardens, and as we introduce our new menu, we will be incorporating even more seasonal and local products. Never been to a Farmer's Market? Here are the main three in Modesto: Modesto Certified Farmers Market 10th Street Certified Farmers Market Vintage Faire Farmers Market
