Head for the Highlands this Weekend!

Well.... a local (and flat-land) version of the Highlands anyway. The Modesto Scottish Highland Games and Gathering of the Clans is happening this Saturday, June 5.  With professional bagpiping, Scottish folk dancing, and athletic events (caber toss, Scottish hammer, and lots of other feats of strength!), there is something for everyone to enjoy-- not to mention delectable cuisine to try AND an excuse to spend a day in the sunshine in Tuolumne River Regional Park!
